Challenge
The main challenge was avoiding a cluttered page, both in text and color. I wanted to limit the palette to let the images do the work and stand out on their own, rather than competing with unnecessary visual noise.
The goal was also to make sure the site's purpose stayed clear at every scroll. The priority was translating a technical, AI-driven concept into something a visitor could understand step by step, without needing prior knowledge of 3D pipelines or Web3 vocabulary to grasp what Mist Tech actually does.
Approach
I started by re-familiarizing myself with Web3 platforms, what they stand for, and their overall vocabulary. This helped set a specific layout for a website carrying technical, industry-specific wording. From there, I designed each section with breathing room for the text, applying the rule of negative space to keep the page from feeling dense or overwhelming despite the technical content.
I treated the page almost like a magazine layout, letting the visuals take center stage while giving the typography a technical, minimal feel that reinforced the brand's precision and scale.
Outcome
The result is a minimal, magazine-style website that lets the visuals lead, with a limited color palette and technical typography that reinforce the brand's precision without overwhelming the page. Each scroll reveals the concept clearly and deliberately, giving visitors an understanding of what the platform does and why it matters, without requiring prior familiarity with Web3 or 3D pipelines.
The overall experience reflects the brand itself: fast, precise, and intentional, treating the environments it showcases not as clutter-filled scenes, but as curated, meaningful worlds.
